The event was held at Avida Towers Centera showroom in Reliance corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City. Five model units were styled by 11 of the best burgeoning and veteran designers, architects, and stylists in Metro Manila. I'm not really a fan of small spaces but I found each unit not only stylish, but also practical with a lot of functional pieces.
The designers who participated this year include: Misty Floro, Pai Edles, Pam Tan, Kat Villanueva, Kristine Neri-Magturo, John Vigilia, Paul Baes, Joel Salazar, Veri Villarosa, Allen Oblena, and Camille Besinga. According to Ms. Rachelle Medina, Real Living's editor-in-chief, the stylists were chosen because of the different unique interior looks that they had. All the designers were able to showcase each unit in creative ways that prospective homeowners would not be limited to just a single style.
Aside from getting home design inspirations, Real Living Space attendees were also able to buy several of the featured products in the spaces and items from the represented brands with huge discounts. There were also vendors of home and craft products and workshops that taught attendees about everything from color and paint trends and how to mix and match fabrics to distressing wood and the basics of calligraphy.
Real Living Space 2015 was presented by Avida Land, HardiFlex by JamesHardie Boysen Paints, and American Standard and sponsored by Fujidenzo Kuysen, La Germania, Match Contract Furniture, MAV Furniture, Uratex, Wilcon Depot, Whirlpool, and Yale, with official TV partner HGTV.
