Rapido Gets Sick

I woke up late yesterday at 8:30 am. Dami pa naman kailangan gawin. I have to water the plants in the garden before the sun sets too high.

Anyway, as soon as I entered the door, I heard Rap's footsteps going down the stairs from our bedroom. I asked him what he wants for breakfast. Sinangag daw and egg na puro yello. (Meaning scrambled eggs.) So I cooked what he wanted. He ate a little... and vomitted a lot afterwards.

Fresh pa rin ako from my trauma with his Kawasaki Disease last year. I tried to give him soup, nilabas din. Water, nilabas din. Wawa naman ang baby ko. Payat pa naman siya lately.

I told him to lie on the couch muna. After an hour of rest, I tried to give him crackers. Fortunately, hindi niya isinuka. And he was able to drink an entire glass of water.

Back to normal na uli siya. I told him to get well kasi nga we had a dinner date last night with Daddy and his officemates in Taalena, Tagaytay.

Four p.m., I took his temperature and normal naman. He took a long nap from 2p.m to 5 p.m. Probably, a long nap was all he needed to get back to his usual jolly and makulit dispostion. By the time Tito Benjie arrived to fetch us, nagdadaldal na uli si Rap.

What a relief. Our house looked like a mess nga eh. Buti na lang, Junin will be back from his vacation on the 20th. May alalay na ako uli sa wakas.

Lesson learned: Rap needs to get his daily nourishment of Vitamin C for resistensya. I forgot to buy Cetrinetz last Sunday when I did the groceries.
