Mommy Moments: Dear Baby

mommy moments

The first photo you see above is actually a screencap of the first website I made for my boy back in 2000. Yep, it was hard-core html, baby! Sadly, Geocities shut down and I was left with screencapped memories of our family's first online photo gallery. I intend to document everything so that my boy can get to discover how he was when he was younger.

I was a hands-on mom when my boy was born. I only had a househelp when he was around 6 months old and we had to move to Laguna from Makati. Well, I am hands-on until now but my boy is big enough to handle almost everything by himself. Although caring for him has been more convenient than before, I still miss the times when I did everything for him. My dear baby is now a tween and I feel that time just passed too quickly.

Dearest Rap,

I am one lucky mom because I had you. Please don't grow up too fast. Mommies also need their babies, you know. Promise me I'll always be your best friend. I love you to the moon and back.

Love,
Mami

  1. New follower of yours! Thanks on commenting on my entry. I can relate to you too since I have daughters ages 9 and 8, who can pretty much do a lot of things on their own. So, I'm really looking forward to having my new baby. :D Hope to be reading more of your posts soon. Thanks!
