This mommy is officially sick

It's the time of the year when the weather gets extremely crazy and my body gives up to sickness. Yes, I've been down with the flu last week and still recuperating. Presently, I'm coughing like there's no tomorrow and my ribs ache when I cough argh! My throat also aches though I kindly love how sexy my husky voice is, hahaha!

Wearing a face mask in the car and other closed spaces is a must!

Anyhoo, we had lots of events this weekend that I couldn't afford to miss including my son's dormitory open house at Pisay. So, as you can see in the picture, I went there with my boys with a surgical face mask. I was considerate enough not to spread the flu bug especially in my boy's room. Kawawa naman ang mga bata kapag nagkataon. They can't afford to get sick because the 2nd quarter exam period is just two weeks away.

After we left Rap at the dorm, the husband and I proceeded to my mom's place because a cousin from Canada visited and I wouldn't want to miss the chance to meet her after all these years. Yun lang, as soon as we got home, I felt my body temperature rising up again. I was feverish again and was delirious. My husband told me that I even got up and babbled something to him like some kind of instruction. I really can't remember, but I think I was dreaming of heated cat beds. You know how you get these weird dreams when your temperature is high, right?

I really hate being sick because there are lots of things I can't do at home. Besides, there are just some things in the house that moms do better, agree? Bawal talaga magkasakit ang mga mommy! I promise to take care of myself more to avoid being sick again.
