It touched my heart because it's all about how us moms are unaware of how our children see us - brave, selfless, caring, and responsible.
I admit I can be often too hard on myself, as most moms do. Little do we know that our husbands, children, and loved ones see us as almost perfect, as superwomen! A mother may describe the perfect woman as "loving and caring" when, in fact, that is she.
Motherhood is 24/7 (this the title of the blog, hehe...) and a mother's love will always be selfless. This is why Mothers' Day should always be a special day! Moms need to pamper themselves and be pampered. Happy mothers who look good and feel great also tend to make their loved ones feel great. Don't you agree?
Ways to pamper moms this Mothers' Day
Husbands and kids, I'm doing you a big favor as I am giving you here some ideas to make mom feel great this coming Mothers' Day. Of course, I want my husband and son to read this, too! LOL!
- Give mom a homemade gift card for a food and hand massage. It should be redeemable forever!
- Put together a special basket for mom filled with beauty and wellness goodies such as facemasks, massage oils, a bottle of multivitamins, and nail essentials. Basically, this should be a basket that moms will enjoy.
- Give mom some gift cards from her favorite store (ehem... attention: my husband!) If she loves beauty, then she will enjoy shopping at Watsons. If it's fashion she's into, she will surely love the wide selection at The SM Store.
- Write a letter or poem telling her why she is the best mom in the world and what makes her perfect.
- Serve her breakfast in bed. If you can't cook, slice some fruits and serve it with toast and butter on a beautiful plate. Oh my gosh, I would totally forget my intermittent fasting schedule for this one!
- Take her out for dinner and a movie. Take note of what her favorite restaurant is and what movies she likes to watch.
Ok, dads and kids! You have all the ideas, you know what to do this Mothers' Day!
